You may remember Dave Hester from the Origional Storage Wars cast was making all types of allegations against the show.
Now television auctioneer Laura Dotson from the show claims she has proof the hit A&E series Storage Wars is not rigged.
She is quoted as saying... "I can say Dave Hester still comes to our auctions, even though there's animosity that he's not on the show. If it was rigged, why would he show up?"
She makes a good point, if the auctions are rigged why would you attend them and risk losing money. That said just because the auction values aren't rigged doesn't mean the show isn't heavily edited so I don't know where I stand on this issue.
Laura Dotson runs the auctions on Storage Wars along with her husband Dan Dotson. If you've watched the show in the past you are probably familiar with both of them.
This is the first time she or her husband have spoken on this issue of "bid rigging" since it was hit by the allegations from former star David Hester in December of 2012. He filed a lawsuit alleging the show is fake.
Up til this point Dan Dotson has done all the talking to refute Dave Hesters claims he was fired from Storage Wars for insisting the producers salt the lockers meaning they put extra stuff in to make the show more exciting.
Hester is currently engaged in a dispute with A&E. Dave Hester has accused the show of planting valuable memorbilia in the lockers. It's interesting how Dave Heseter didn't have any issues with the show until he threw a fit about his pay and then was apparently fired from the show. As long as he was the star getting a paycheck he didn't seem to take issue with any of his complaints if they even are true.
